Happy National Lipstick Day! I honestly can say that there isn't a day that I go out and i'm not wearing a bold lip! Whenever I am at Ulta or Sephora, you can always find me shopping the lipsticks. July 21st marked my one year anniversary of starting my blog, and I could not be more thrilled with where I have come in one year. I began this blog a year ago because it was always something that I wanted to do. I love fashion, and I would spend all my time reading various fashion blogs hoping that one day I could make one too! Then one day I finally decided to put some outfits together and have my mom come out and take outfit photos of me with our Nikon D3000 (instead of taking my normal instagram photos with my iphone). I posted my first outfit (probably my all time favorite post) which was "Summer Stripes and Baseball Caps" and then "Its Madison Lane" was born!

Almost 5,000 followers on Instagram
Worked with a lot of great fashion and jewelry companies

I am so excited to be doing this 4th of July collab with Brianna (or golferprep on Instagram)! Brianna has quickly become one of my good friends that I have made from having my fashion Instagram! She is so sweet, and honestly I love ALL of her outfits! They are all so perfect!
We both styled outfits that I think are perfect for the 4th of July! I love Brianna's take on white on white (which is a big trend for the summer time) and then she added hints of blue and red to make it perfect for the 4th! For my outfit I paired my new favorite navy blue scalloped dress with simple gold accessories, and my red bandana.
