The city that never sleeps ~ NYC day 1

Finally got to meet my blogger bestie! Funny story we have literally been talking since we both started blogging 6ish years ago! Check her out here !!

The last time I was in NYC I was 16 years old. I went for my birthday during the summer time, I got a gold Michael Kors watch, I went with my mom and grandma, and I explored colleges up north. Now that was 5 years ago and I can definitely say a lot has changed since then.  NYC has always been somewhere I said I wanted to move to. Recently it has been on my mind 24/7 and that is why I planned this trip. I wanted to go by myself (well with one of my best friends) and just walk around and explore and see if I could see myself living there. And I can confidently say my answer is YES after this trip. I seriously fell in love with the city and truly loved every second of my trip.

We were only in the city for 3 days and 2 nights so I tried to do as much as I could in that little amount of time. We dropped off our bags at our hotel around 10:30 a.m. and then we headed over to the High Line and the Chelsea Market (my favorite!! I love Chelsea). Then we walked over and met my mom at the Kate Spade corporate offices because she was actually in the city for work (didn't plan this). Then walked all the way up to Central Park and met up with Grace. Then we took the subway back to our hotel (and totally was not as bad as I was expecting) and got ready to head over to this amazing rooftop bar that was near our hotel! It was called 230 fifth and had actual igloos on the rooftop!! What an amazing first day!
